Terms of service

Last updated: November 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you hire Sanguine Projects (ABN 66 675 029 848) to build your website. By paying the deposit, you agree to them. If anything in your written quote differs from these terms, the quote applies.

2. Packages and prices

Google Profile, $300: setting up or claiming your Google Business Profile, with categories, services, service areas, photos, hours, a business description, your review link with a printable QR code, and matching listings on Apple Maps and Bing.

Starter, $500: mobile-friendly design, a contact form and Google Business Profile setup.

Business, $1,000: online booking or quote requests, a review request system and basic local SEO.

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Anything outside your package, such as extra features, is quoted separately before I start it.

3. Payment

A 50% deposit is due before work starts, and the remaining 50% is due before your website or profile goes live. Invoices are payable within 7 days. Ongoing costs for third-party services, such as your domain name, booking tools or text message credits, are paid by you directly to those providers.

4. Your content

You provide the text, photos, logos and business details for your website, and you confirm you have the right to use them. If you’d like help with wording, I’m happy to write it from the details you give me. Timelines depend on receiving your content, so if I don’t hear from you for 30 days, I may pause your project and fit it back into my schedule when you’re ready.

5. Revisions

Your package includes two rounds of changes after you see the first draft. Further changes are quoted separately, and I’ll always tell you the cost and get your OK before starting them.

6. Timeline

Most websites go live within about a week of receiving all your content. Bigger projects or slow feedback can extend this, and I’ll keep you updated.

7. Ownership

Once your invoice is paid in full, your website and its content belong to you. Your domain name is registered in your name. Your Google Business Profile stays under your own Google account, and I’m added only as a manager, so you can remove my access at any time. Google requires the business owner to verify the profile, which can take a few days. I may show your website as an example of my work unless you ask me not to.

8. After launch

If something I built doesn’t work as agreed, tell me within 30 days of launch and I’ll fix it at no cost. After that, updates and changes are quoted per job. I don’t offer an ongoing maintenance plan.

9. Third-party services

Your website may rely on services such as Google, Cloudflare, Formspree or booking tools. I can’t control their outages, price changes or policy changes. I also can’t guarantee search rankings, a number of reviews or a number of enquiries, because those depend on Google and your customers.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim relating to your project is limited to the amount you’ve paid me for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Cancelling

Either of us can end the project by giving notice in writing. If you cancel after work has started, the deposit covers the work done to that point.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
